DESJARDINS GROUP
Context
Desjardins Group is the largest cooperative financial group in Canada.
They have approximately 20 subsidiaries, several of which operate across the country and 513 caisses which work autonomously.
Desjardins launched in 2007 its global employer brand and at the same time centralized a large part of the recruitment staffing operations.
General management was mindful of ensuring the coherence of the brand while deploying it.
Strategy / Solution
Desjardins decided to entrust its whole recruitment media placement to Illico Hodes as we had been partners for years.
They offered our services to the network of caisses as a third-party to help them with the publication of their online and printed job postings.
All the relevant staffing personnel based in headquarters was connected to Rit@ Services.
To benefit from economy of scale, packages or contract volume were negotiated when relevant.
Implementation
Illico Hodes dedicated a team who worked in partnership with Desjardins’ HR and Communications teams. We worked with their graphic and writing guidelines to create the variety of advertising media formats requested.
Desjardins’ Careers section was connected with Rit@ Services to avoid duplicate work. All the relevant recruiters own their personal account and can proceed with media placement as needed.
Results
More than 200 caisses and the staffing personnel based in headquarters worked in partnership with Illico Hodes.
We became the keeper of Desjardins’ employer brand ensuring quality and alignment.
Tight negotiations allowed a significant reduction of media costs.
